Hearing Aid Types and Styles

Hearing aids have come a long way in recent years, with advances in technology allowing 95% of those with hearing loss to experience either a partial or full recovery in hearing. However, it is essential to remember that not all hearing aids are created equal. Different types of hearing loss require different types of hearing aids, and it is important to have your hearing assessed by a hearing care professional to ensure that you receive the correct treatment. Hearing aids come in a variety of sizes and styles, and they can be custom-made to fit your specific hearing needs. They are designed to provide a comfortable and discreet solution to hearing loss, allowing you to enjoy the sounds of life. By using the latest in hearing aid technology, you can be sure to receive the best possible treatment for your hearing loss.

There are a number of factors taken into consideration when selecting a hearing device:

  • How easily you can manage the device and if there are any dexterity, vision or cognitive issues
  • What challenging environments you want to improve (e.g., conversations at home, work, TV, background noise)
  • The look and feel of the device
  • Your work and lifestyle needs (e.g., exposure to water or dust, telephone and computer use etc)
